This policy explains how the BaseCamp platform sends text (SMS) messages, how you consent to receive them, and how you can stop them at any time. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to this policy.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any BaseCamp message to cancel, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment. This is a transactional, non-marketing program.
1. Program description
BaseCamp is Beard Integrated Systems' internal operating platform. With your consent, BaseCamp sends account- and work-related text messages such as task and approval reminders, timecard and payroll notifications, schedule and safety alerts, document and signature requests, and system or security notices. This is a non-marketing, transactional messaging program for authorized users (employees, and where applicable, vendors and contacts).
2. How you opt in
You provide express consent to receive texts from BaseCamp in one or more of these ways: by entering your mobile number and enabling text notifications in your BaseCamp profile or notification settings; by confirming a one-time verification code; or by opting in through a written or electronic form provided by Beard.
Consent is not a condition of employment or of any purchase, and you may choose email or in-app notifications instead of text.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your role, settings, and account activity. You may receive messages only when a relevant event occurs (for example, a task assigned to you or an approval awaiting your action).
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Beard does not charge for the messages themselves, but your carrier's standard rates apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any BaseCamp text message, or by disabling text notifications in your BaseCamp settings. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts.
Opting out of texts does not remove you from BaseCamp; you will still receive in-app and, where applicable, email notifications.
6. How to get help (HELP)
For help, reply HELP to any BaseCamp text message, or contact us using the information in Section 10. Replying HELP returns contact information and basic program details.
7. Supported carriers
BaseCamp messaging is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier and network availability and is not guaranteed.
8. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Mobile numbers and consent records are collected and used only to operate the BaseCamp messaging program and are handled in accordance with Beard's privacy practices.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Your mobile information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver the messaging service (for example, our SMS delivery vendor), solely for that purpose.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through BaseCamp or by other reasonable means, and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
